Sydex’s Defender industrial grinder protects the pump from potential damage caused by solid waste. Maintaining a constant flow rate and preventing potential damage to the pumping system is notoriously difficult when dealing with fluids with a high solids content or suspended materials. By installing a Sydex Defender upstream of the pumping system, solids are reduced to smaller particle sizes, thus eliminating the risks of damage and premature wear to the pump. Since flow is not pressure-dependent, this grinder mounted on the suction line is the ideal solution to protect pumps and the system from the risks of damage and downtime.
