ATEX is a European certification that aims to minimize and prevent any possible risk of explosion when equipment is used in a potentially explosive atmosphere.

ATEX certification is required in the industrial pump industry when the product is used in a potentially explosive environment. Many substances such as flammable gases, mists, vapors or combustible dusts can cause an explosion when exposed to an ignition source. Sydex pumps are ATEX certified and meet all the requirements of your operating conditions.
