Sydex was founded in 2003 in Lonigo, Vicenza.

After a short period entirely dedicated to the manufacture of free moulded pumps, Sydex soon expanded its PCP production range with the K series for industry and water treatment, consolidating its presence both nationally and internationally.

In 2006 Sydex founded its first subsidiary in UK, Torqueflow Sydex, followed by Sydex Singapore in 2009, in 2011 by Sydex Flow in Portugal and in 2013 by Sydex USA in North Carolina. The commercial expansion goes hand in hand with the development of new products, such as hopper pumps, food pumps, macerators, grinders and peristaltic pumps, for the most diverse applications. Since 2016, Sydex has been part of the Gévelot Group.
